Hmmm. 2 weeks in the bottle, still minimally carbed. Tasted one last night. Smells wonderful, tastes great initially but then has this lingering bitterness that just stays with you, very strange. We were careful on sanitation as always and I cant think of any one thing that would have caused...

I recently made a coffee porter and we added about a quarter gallon of cold steeped coffee! I wanted to make something like ballast point victory at sea which has a super strong coffee flavor. We boiled our bottling sugar in the coffee before adding to bottling bucket. I did a lot of research...

Bottling this tomorrow :) - tasted great when we racked to secondary so pretty excited to try it after a few weeks in the bottle.

Very excited to hear how this turns out - love this beer, had it at Oktoberfest in 2007 and drink regularly here at home. One of my wife's favorite beers as well!
