    buying Clarity Ferm in bulk

I would not, and do not offer this to celiacs under any circumstance. Diagnosed celiacs can have reactions from so little that unless I sent my beer for testing I wouldn’t offer it. The result for them is increased chance of intestinal cancers. Not worth it for me. I agree with brewGF above...

Autumn Seasonal Beer Stingy Jack Pumpkin Saison

I'm going to brew this again with the Wallonian Farmhouse Saison from The Yeast Bay. Wallonian is supposed to have a little bit of farmhouse funk in it. The tartness worked so well with this. I'm going to try and re-create. I love the darker richness with the spice and yeast. Nice take on a...

    OBKrusher owner reviews?

I have done 10+ batches on the OBK. No complaints really. Just be sure your rollers are straight, or they may stick a little. It's a bit tricky fine tuning your crush, but not actually difficult. Good product for a really fair price. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

Autumn Seasonal Beer Stingy Jack Pumpkin Saison

Brewed this a few months ago. Used a full mash, fresh roasted sugar pumpkins, good boil, and a fermentation chamber to keep the temps warm for the wy3712 French saison yeast. The fermentation stalled at 1.030 for more than a week. So I put the temp down to 20•c for 5 days. Then raised it...

    Costco is all belgian

I make a point when south of the border to swing i to a Costco. The price break is great for Canadians. The Kirkland signature vodka (1.75l) used to be distilled in France by grey goose. Not sure if that still holds true. But it was last year in the Hawaiian Costcos. Nice stuff! Glad to hear...

    1L Swingtop Bottles in Vancouver

You can buy these direct from the brewery. Check prices with them. Not trying to shoot down a sale here, but for anyone interested, or if these have already sold it is a place to get those 1L bottles. I use them all the time. Love bottling into only 23 bottles and done!

Do You Still Purchase Commercial Beer ?

Research only accounts for so much. After that its just enjoyment of life. Which is what we should do. I find now that my homebrew quality is increasing, I am buying less commercial beer. However I do keep a good stock of dark heavy strong brews in the cellar aging away for a vertical tasting...

    Vancouver Island HBS?

I'm also Valley located. I've found that through a few of the shops around here will sell you bulk LME for cheap. You just have to bring your own container. They also sell hops if they have them. If you have or are planning on moving up to Full Grain let me know, I'm just moving in that...
