    My new kegerator top

I found that the trick is to mix up about 2 cups of the epoxy, pour it on the area that you're working then place all your caps. It will act as a glue so they don't float. In about 4 hours you then do your next coat, "which on my top was about a half gallon" followed by your last coat "another...

Ya thanks, the tap handles are just older Rogue brewing tap handles, I cleaned up the brass, removed their sticker from the wood and put on chalk board paper.

    My new kegerator top

I believe the key is to pour a 1/4 inch then let it set, then move on from there. I poured about a half inch on first shot, which makes the epoxy very hot, and bubbly, which in turn makes the guy with the plumbers torch pop the bubbles for far too long creating ridges in the epoxy. We had to...

    My new kegerator top

Just wanted to share some pictures of my kegerator top build. Im real happy with how it came out. However Ill let anyone know that if you are using this bartop epoxy to follow the directions very carefully. I would have saved myself much aggravation if I had.

    Igloo Marine 48-Quart Mash Tun

I've used this exact cooler for quite some time now. I posted a thread about the manifold I built for it as well. If I was more computer literate I'd post a link to it. It holds temps incredibly well I rarely lose more than 1 degree over an hour. You got a real good deal...

OFFICIAL Kate the Great Russian Imperial Stout Clone

I wanted to thank the OP for this great thread. I've never had Kate The Great but am anxious to taste this clone. I've read this entire thread over time and finally had a chance to brew it this weekend. Without question the biggest beer I've ever made, and it taste great right from the start...

"polishing your keg" is more than a clever euphemism

So I finally did it, I read every single page of this thread and followed Bobby M's directions exactly. Granted my keggle has seen some battles in its day and is scratched and dented to hell, but it looks amazing. All in all it took about 5 hours to do and really wasn't as hard to do as I...

    Farmhouse Brewing Supply

My first time ordering from them, super communication and very fast delivery. I was shocked that they had the nearly 1.5 pounds of citra that I needed when nobody else seemed to have any....

Cigar City - Hunahpu day 2013

They really need more porta johns. By 6pm many of them were overflowing and just nasty. They really need more tap locations too, the lines were out of control Overall it was a great time, I happened to be camped about five feet from one of the Hunahpu distribution spots so was able to get my...

    wort chilling in warmer months

I use a 600 gph pump that is made by Beckett. Its a good quality pump however I wish I had invested in a much stronger pump. Pumping the water through the immersion chiller drops the 600 gph down to about 60 gph.... But it does the trick for those of us in the South with warm tap water

    A keg conditioning question

I've seen alot of debates about keg conditioning and force carbing and which is better. I'm hoping to avoid that here if possible. I'd like to try to keg condition my next keg which is a 5 gallon IPA. It's just something I'd like to give a try, I've seen alot of rough estimates on the amount of...
