    It just doesn't matter

    This is one of my biggest reason I brew. Perfection is based on your rules. Change a recipe, try a different yeast, ferment at different temps. If it tastes good, drink it.

    A beer you can chew

    I brewed a black ipa a while back and kegged it. A tap into it the other day and what do I see, hops floating around. Not sure where things went wrong. Will this settle out over time? It's been kegged for 4 weeks, I'd think that would be more then enough.

    Yeast Starter

    Going for it - Black IPA

    So tomorrow is the day. First ever AG and we'll be making a Black IPA. Wish me luck. I've been told this could be an 8hr day. Other brewers I know say they can not break the 6hr mark. Tonight I got my grains crushed and starter going.

    Transferring BS files to network drive

    Is it as simple as cut&paste from My Documents folder to a folder on the network drive? And should I overwrite my program files on the laptop with the files from my PC. Here's what I'd like to do. Work on recipes and such at PC but use laptop on brewing days or in my brew cave.

    Wyeast Smack Pack

    I activated a Wyeast smack pack under the assumption that my wife understood 4 hrs to brew meant 4 consecutive hours. Now, how long is the yeast good for? Package is inflated, can I but it back in refrigerator and brew in a few days?
