I'm still pretty new to drinking better beer (a year) and obviously even newer to homebrewing (6 mos.), but it's very hard for me imagine myself doing much chasing down and overpaying for special releases. Maybe that'll change at some point, but there are just so many fantastic beers out there...

An hour soak in hot water to loosen the labels (or fall off) and a quick scrape with a razor blade to get the glue off does the trick easy enough for me.

We volunteer at a local community greenhouse/farm that has a few chickens. I've only done a few batches, but that's where I've taken my spent grain. Although, I must admit, I personally enjoy snacking on it a little bit. Great flavor and makes a wonderful salad topper.
