    7.25 lbs of 2 row, .75 of medium crystal, .6 of chocolate, .4 of black malt. 1 oz of fruggles. Might be somewhat robust but input would much be appreciated. I don't have a program just pen/paper. Mash at 152(not sure on this). 3 gallon batch.

    I was going to brew a three gallon test batch that consist of 7.25 lbs of two row, .75 of medium crystal, .6 chocolate, and .4 black malts. 1oz of fruggles hop. I may need to reevaluate after reading your responses. Your thoughts.

    Biab?

    This was my second attempt at BIAB and ended up with 1 gallon of trub in the fermenter. I need to research filtering processes. I mashed at 153 for 90 minutes, raised to 168 for 10 minutes, and didn't sparge. Gravity after boil was 1.072.

    I have 6.15 gallons of wort ready to boil. Received a call to leave on an emergency business trip for three days and the plane leaves in 2 hours. How do I store it? I'm planning on covering the BK with foil and lid, then put in refrigerator.

    Weird

    Thanks for the replies. The airlock went from dormant, clear beer, to a bubble every five seconds. The beer looked the same as day two of fermentation. Bubbles or CO2 were shooting up from the bottom. Glad I woke it up. I hadn't taken a hydrometer reading.

    using oak chips

    I boiled American oak chips for 15 min., strained and then added the tea with priming sugar before bottling a 7.5% IPA.
