    Peanut Butter Ale

These are great suggestions thanks. I wasn't really aiming for peanut butter ale, but rathers just peanuts. But, I don't think it really matters. Would it be better for a porter or maybe a brown ale? The smells and taste of fresh peanuts is great and I've always wanted to add that to beer.

I'm thinking about doing a Peanut Ale for my next brew. Where should I start in trying to develop this type of recipe?

Low bitter, but high hop flavor/aroma?

I just tried my first ever batch and I have this problem. It looks and smells like an IPA (I brewed an IPA) but it is not as bitter as I would like. Should I let it sit longer? I just tried it after I bottled it 2 weeks ago. What should I do? Let it sit longer?

I brewed on December 28, so tomorrow would be 3 weeks since brew day. I guess I do need to let it sit more anyway.

    IPA tastes like wine

I've read where you're not supposed to drink it until it has sat in the bottle for about a week or two. That's probably why it tastes funny

    Fermentation

Ok thanks a lot man I just didn't know how often to do it. I didn't want to do it too much in fear of oxidation

    Fermentation

Dont mean to hijack thread, but how often should I take a hydrometer reading? It's been fermenting for 8 days now. I brewed on December 28th. Also, I'm planning on on doing a primary fermentation and it's an IPA so should I primary for 3 weeks then bottle? Again, don't mean to hijack I'm just...
