Building my own 2 tap tower. Need faucets.

Is there anywhere I can buy a setup that has all I need to mount and connect a faucet. I want to build my own tower and will need faucets and shanks with the whole shabang to hook them up. The tower walls will be 1/2" thick and I'll need the 90* bend. Would it be cheaper to just buy the permade...

Want to brew my first iipa

The only thing I don't have is a way to oxygenate my wort. I do have a small aquarium pump but no stone. Should I attempt this brew without an oxygen tank? Or should I wait? Og is anticipated to be around 1.087. Cheers

Starter only fermented wort 10 points.

I had made a starter out of some yeast that I saved from a previous starter. (1275) On the stir plate it went crazy foaming out the top of my flask. I put it in the fridge for 2 days and took it out on brew day to warm up. It smelled a little like eggs but since it seemed to ferment well I used...

starter smells a little like sulfur.

So I made a 1.5 liter starter out of some washed yeast 1275 Thames valley. On the stir plate it went nuts foaming out the top of my 2000 ml flask. It smelled great just like it was suppose to. I put it in the fridge to crash for 2 days and when I decanted it to warm up it smelled a little bit...

Will the shake method of force carbing affect head?

I have an ipa that I want to tap this weekend. Have any of you shakers noticed a reduction in your beers head from this way of force carbing?

6.5 or 7 gallon plastic fermenter less than 10" in diameter.

Looking for an inexpensive plastic fermenter that's about the same size as a corny keg. I have a fridge that can hold 2 kegs but I want to have the ability to cold crash while i have a beer on tap. I have 28" height I can use. Any ideas?

Modifying a recipe to a higher gravity.

There are lots of threads on high gravity, but that's not what I'm after. Well kind of.... I was looking at Lil' Sparkys Nut Brown. His OG is around 1.054 which is about 5.5% if all goes well. If i wanted to bump this up 1% to 6.5% abv how would i best go about it? Do I try to scale the...

Flavor falls off at the end of a drink.

This brew is probably my 10-12 AG batch, but this has been a reoccurring thing. I'm wondering if this is just a "green beer" problem or something else. Because I have been drinking my beer after 3 weeks or so. I keg and force carb. I can post a recipe later if needed. I'm at work atm...

    Priming based on gravity points.

I've been poking around this morning and was wondering something. I have primed 3 batches with cane sugar and have had only partial success. So I want to do some experiments. I'm going to stick with the cane sugar but I want to prime individual bottles for testing. I want to boil the sugar...

    Yay! for whirlfloc!

I did it! After 3 batches of cloudy beer, I finally tried whirlfloc. Wow!

So I added gelatin to my secondary...

It was pretty cloudy, it looked like orange juice. It was in primary for 10 days and I racked to secondary and added gelatin and put it in my shed outside at about 48 degrees. Sat there for about a week and cleared up quite a bit but there was only what looked like yeast on the bottom of the...
