I've brewed two cooper's kits, the canadian blonde and the lager. They're pretty good but they still taste different then the liquor store beer. Are there other kits out there that are better or is it in my process (basically following the package instructions)?

So I've just tranfered my "Cooper's" Canadian Blonde Beer into the secondary fermenter so I get to see it's wonderful color. However It's pretty cloudy. Any suggestions for ensuring that it clarifies?

I am thinking about force carbonating but I want to bottle the beer too. Would it work to use a regulator and carbonate the beer in the bottle? I have a feeling it would be smarter to carbonate it in a keg first but i don't have a keg. Another question - would carbonating it in a glass carboy...

I used a Coopers "Canadian Blonde" with the recomended 1 kg malt and dextrose kit. I followed the directions and it did ferment. I didn't measure the SG when I started. Does anyone know what it is and what it should be when it's done? Also, it's only been 4 days and the bubbling is slowing...

I never measured the gravity at the start of my fermentation. Will that be a problem???

i have a homebrew kit for 23 litres of beer. how much sugar should i add and what is the optimum temp for it it is an ale :S
