    Any Ideas to reduce soot on kettle?

    This is my second all grain batch using an 8 gallon kettle and my burner. After I'm done there is a ton of soot on the bottom of the kettle which is getting all over everything in the house, since that's how I run my chiller. Anyone else have this problem??? Solutions?? Thanks...
