I only found one place that carried it - some canadian beer/wine making place (but they dont have an online shop just a catalogue.) Anyone able to find these things? Tried 3b and NB but...

    Beergun and huge foaming

So I bottled a batch of brew today and got an insane ammount of foam - i lost nearly 1/3 or more of the batch. Everything was sanitized, the serving psi was low - under 3, bottles were frozen, beer was at about 42-45 degrees, and i even had the beergun line sitting in ice water. possible...

Anyone use WLP036 Dusseldorf Alt Yeast?

Had a scottish export using this yeast, been a week and a half so far and still krausen on top. however its not like any krausen i've seen - almost has a smooth texture, like uhm peanut butter maybe? wondering if anyone has had this and if i should just rack this already to my secondary.

    Inconsistant pours with beergas

I have my guinness clone hooked up to a beergas mix. the first pour always comes out with a nice thick creamy head and the waterfall effect. any drinks immediately after, unless i let it sit for awhile, will result in plain looking beer with no waterfall and a very very very small ammount of...

    Natural Gas Burners

I wanted to convert my propane burner stand to natural gas. I found a cheap decent burner here that doesnt show a 12 week shipping, and tejassmokers has the natural gas line with the quick disconnect for my house. what i couldnt find, however, is a regulator of any sort to control the flame...

Just trying to find a place in southern cali to get my nitro can filled with beergas. I got local airgas companies but not only do they charge about 8 bucks a pound for just the co2, they argue that beergas doesn't exist and bars only use co2 for dispensing. So yea any reccomendation would be...

    Refermentation in bottle

I've seen various tidbits, but mostly based on large scale breweries carbonation their beer by using yeast to referment in the bottles. Is there any calculator to convert batch sizes/styles to a yeast pitch cell count? And how the heck could you even control a cell count to pitch in the first place?

Best Brands for Kegerators, and if it's worth it

So i want to get into kegging - which kegerator brands are on top as far as reliability? and also, is it better to buy one or just make my own, i have zero experience with kegging so wasnt sure if it would be better to just get something that is prefit per say for fast and easy keg hook up.

Anyone ever had a bag of bad caps?

Just wondering if anyone out there has had a bag of bad bottling caps - after 3 weeks at 71 degrees in my closet my irish red clone looks like cranberry juice with the same ammount of carb to boot. i used cooper's tabs (yes the right ammount) and literally it looks like it just came from the...

    Excess yeast buildup in bottles

So here's my story; I started off a couple years ago by recieving a mr.beer kit, as i did more and more advanced (well to me anyway) ways of brewing i eventually went right from mr.beer to all-grain brewing. However, in every all-grain batch, roughly 4 or 5 now i have noticed a HUGE buildup of...
