i *think* i read around here about someone using 5 gal of water +1 tbsp of javex +1 tbsp of vinegar as a no rinse sanitizer? im not sure on the measurements but that seems right. anyone know about this or use this? i've ordered a nice big jug of star-san but i thought this might do in the meantime.

a 3 gal batch of malkores not so ancient orange. it smelled so freakin good. ugh i hate waiting.

i was perusing through my homebrewing for dummies book whilst on the can today and he said he uses two cans of extract per 5 gal batch. anyone do this? i always used one, kinda seems like overkill to me.
