    Finally joined the club!

    After many years of off and on interest, I finally brewed my first batch today, an Irish Red Ale. Kit from Midwest. All seemed to go well, time will tell I suppose. ;). O.G. Was 1.040. :mug:

    CO2 hose connection

    I'm still in the gathering mode of equipment for my first batch. I plan to go straight to kegging. Have 5gal corny, CO2 tank, reg and lines. I recently picked up the gas and liquid couplers for the keg. They are both 1/4" barbed. The gas line that came with the regulator is 5/16th. Now to...

    Newbie from Washington

    Just wanted to say hi. Long time lurker.... Looked into home brewing a few years back but other commitments seemed to get in the way. Plan to take the plunge and brew my first batch very soon. :mug: ]~[ike68
