    Too much head???

    My buddy and I were trying out his latest batch as mine is still fermenting. We realized that 3 of the 5 batches he's done in his Mr. Beer kit have had TONS of head, like 50-70% of the glass. Now I spent alot of years bar tending so it's not my pouring skills. The beer tastes fine. Any ideas...

    First brew today... 1 mistake and OG is high?

    Will infrared light hurt fermentation?

    I may have found a fix for my temperature problem. As stated in a previous thread the only place I have to put my ferm buckets is my basement which is about 10 degrees too cold. Got some great ideas from people for ways to keep it warmer. My neighbor gave me an oil filled radiant heat space...

    Aeration methods?

    Remember reading somewhere about someone who did their aeration a bit different but for the life of me I can't figure our where I read it.     Is this too cold a place to fermenet?

    Well, I'm fairly limited on "acceptable" (to my wife anyways) places to put my fermenting buckets and figured I'd be ok in my basement but I just took a temperature reading and it's only 57 degrees down there and it fairly mild outside right now. This is below what recommended 64-72 degrees...
