    Didnt use starter and over shot og

    So a Baltic porter, my 3rd batch was supposed to be 1.065 og and was actually 1.072 I didn't make a yeast starter because I was expecting to be under 1.070. Should I pitch more yeast tomorrow? I used a wyest Irish ale yeast smack pack. Should I let it ferment a little longer, like 10 days?

    hello from Tampa

    hello all, I just started my first batch of beer. It is an IPA which I will add white oak chips to. I am using a kit and it says to age 6 weeks after finishing primary fermentation. It has been fermenting for 6 days now so I am 6 weeks and 1 day away from enjoying. Cheers everyone, glad to be here.
