I recently brewed an all grain brown ale. The recipe called for fermentation temperatures around 63 degrees. Its been a cold winter in the midwest lately and I recently discovered that my basement has been around 55 degrees. Will the colder temperature during primary have a negative effect on the beer/yeast?
