Hey,

I am using the BIAB technique, so my brew kettle is also my mash tun. I forgot to have my brew shop crush my grain so I used a pestle and mortar to crush about 20 ounces of my grain with a pestle and mortar. It was quite fine, which I wanted for better extraction, but there was a small amount of grain on the bottom of my kettle. It was there throughout the boil...

I don't need to be worried about tannins do I? There was a very small amount.
