The last few years I have made a small batch of wine using what grows near my house. Last year was Mustang grape wine, this year I decided on mesquite bean wine. I have tons of the trees at my place. I used Jack Kellers recipe, but didn't have raisins or grape juice on hand. I subsituted a cup of peeled mustang grapes and some brewers syrup, that I had left over from a cider recipe. Was this possibly a bad mistake?
