Prelude: I am new to brewing!

On my first batch of mead (it's been a little over 3 months). I added Bentonite to clear it up prior to bottling. I am not getting much clearing after 48 hours. I can see the bentonite settled to the bottom. At this point should I rack it again, and treat it again, or should I stir it to being the bentonite back up into suspension?

You guidance is appreciated.

You can give it a good stir and bring it all back up into suspension and it will settle out again fairly quickly and may bind more. However, You need to give it time. You may also find that putting it in a fridge (or cold place) will speed the clearing.

If you use too much Bentonite (more than about 1 g/L) you strip aroma and flavor so be careful about adding more.
