After several AG batches with decent results, I finally nailed one...a "Big River Brown" from Midwest ..all grain..

Keged it few days ago and just tried it...with only a few days in the keg and 3 1/2 weeks from the day i brewed it it tastes incredible..

I'm going to try to kkeep my paws off of it for another week or so..

Brewed a Night Cap Cherry Stout today and hit just over 80% brewhouse efficiency..

This site ROCKS!

I wanna do another cherry stout or possibly even strawberry at some point in the future. I had bottle bombs last time I tried that and haven't tried again since :)

My first stout today, it was incredible to see the first runnings...the refractometer was reading 20 brix..lol, stuff was like old motor oil..can't wait to taste it...used 2 smack packs of Wyeast 1028..
The cherry extract flavoring is supposed to be added at kegging

1.06 OG into fermenter..largest beer ever for me to date
