Hello everyone,

I am new to home brewing...just collecting the final pieces I need to start (hopefully 2 weeks) and I'm good to go! I have been using the site to guide me through the starting process.

One of the questions I had revolves around sanitizers. I know PBW and Star San are pushed at my local Brew and grow, but it is quite expensive. My family owns a janitorial supply company, so I have access to restaurant sanitation equipment at pretty discounted prices.

The 2 products I wanted to get your opinion on are:

Beer Clean® Glass Cleaner

Beer Clean® Last Rinse Sanitizer

They both say that they are accepted by breweries across the US.

What do you guys think?

The sanitizer looks like a chlorine based one, which is just about the same as using bleach (albeit at quite a bit less ppm). IMO you will still have to rinse to get rid of the chlorine... chlorine and beer do not mix well and chlorophenols do not taste very good in beer. The cleaner looks fine to me though.
