I am looking at temp control fermentation chambers and was hoping for some advice.

My primary concern is really space. So I would like to find something that will hold 2-3 fermenters with out having too much wasted space. I think a chest freezer would be the most ideal?

I have seen the build at home threads and i am jealous! I am not nearly handy enough nor do I have the tools to make my own.

a 7 cu. ft. chest freezer will hold two 6.5 glass carboys (or 1 glass carboy and one plastic bucket) Brand new, these are about $210.00, you will need a temp controller as well at about 85.00.

I'd look on CL for a 7-10 cf chest freezer.

And you can buy a dual stage temp controller from Ebay for about $25 and mount it right inside the body of the freezer if you like.

Ok, thanks! I was leaning towards a 7 cf chest freezer and I think that is the way I'll go!
