Can anyone suggest a good light beer recipe that is inexpensive to make??? Has to be all extract as I have no mashtun. Looking for good light beer for the summer.

If you can pull off a partial mash you could do great pale and amber ales with some crystal, munch, caripils, ect for specialty grains. If you use light DME you can really make any beer you want. If your more specific with what you REALLY want. and if you can use ANY grain then we can build you something. If your limited only to extract then that is what you are. More limited. But you can still brew some good lighter beer. just not as many options.

Just make a kolsch. Something like:

4lb pilsen dme
1lb wheat dme

25 Ibu of a German noble hop

Kolsch yeast

Simple, easy, cheap and good
