I've found that Austin Home Brew carries this yeast. One of a very few. Seems that the company only sells it in bulk. Austin buys the bulk and repack it into 1 oz bags.
Love it when I brew a German barley ale. Like to use Munich/Vienna malt and K-97 yeast.
Just did an Imperial IPA w/a mix of 5.5 lbs of Vienna/Munich malt. I make small batches so this is enough for a 1.75 gallon brew. OG was 1.084. Lets see what I get in 3 or 4 weeks. Used Magnum and Perle hops. If I remember I'll dry hop w/Hallertauer for 5 days. Sometimes I forget to add the dry hops. Might be old age. LOL
I call this Kaiser Ridge Imperial IPA after my brewery name "Kaiser Ridge" giving honor to my German heritage.
