Tasting Notes
Not a hopbomb. Bitter with sweetness and subtle citrus notes.
10# 2row
.5 Amber Malt
.5 Crystal 60
.5 Honey Malt

Mash 3.5 gal 50min at 158

Sparged 3.5 gal at 168

start boil volume 5.5-6 gallons

blend 1 oz each of Simcoe(12.2AA), Chinook (11.8AA), and Cascade (6.4AA) during 60 minute boil.

add hops continuously during boil. Hop heavily during first 15 minutes and last 15 minutes of boil.

Ferment for 3 weeks. Dry hop with 1 oz cascade 5-7 days.

Really, really simple tasty IPA recipe. This reminds me a lot of Victory's Hop Devil, in color, bitterness, and strength. This one weighed in for me at 6.3%. I would probably increase the dry hop as there isn't much of a nose on this.

Couldn't edit from my phone to attach photo. Brewed on 10/2/11.
