heineken 5L keg ??????

hello, has anyone tried to use those heineken 5L KEGS to keep some beer in the fridge? Can u re carbinate them? I just though about it. I would like to use something small since I don't have much room in the house.

Nope - they're a single-use item.

5 gallon corny kegs aren't too large, otherwise there is always the tap-a-draft system or party pigs.

My local wal-mart was selling Coors Light in 1 gal aluminum party kegs for like 12 dollars. They are identical to the ones my LHBS sells for 10.00 apiece apart from the Coors logo on the outside........ and being filled with cheap beer you could use to build up favors with buddies who drink that.

You can buy the empty 5L kegs for about $11 new.

Mini-Keg :: Midwest Supplies Homebrewing and Winemaking Supplies

Once I get up and running, I am going to try mini batches in those to try various recipes.
