Hi all,
I'm thinking of experimenting with a kind of sweet-potato weizenbock in the not too distant future, and wonder about how to avoid getting a horribly sticky mash. Rice hulls sound like an obvious choice, but I've little experience with them -- and none at all with adding sweet potato as an adjunct. If I've got about 10 lb of potato and lots of wheat malt in a mash, how much rice hull should I add? Or, is there a better solution? Or, is the whole idea bananas?
Thanks!
