Been slowly upgrading my all grain setup and I recently came across some fountain(pop/soda) pumps through my work. Does anyone use fountain pumps when brewing? These pumps operated with CO2 but can work with forced air. I know I'll have a ton of cleaning to do but free is free!

I also have some of these, 4 to be exact. I was wondering the same thing. Has anybody used these things for anything useful?

These are BIB pumps and they are designed to pump syrup from BIB bags to the soda dispenser fountain heads. They make a version for transferring beer - it works the same but the dimensions & pressures are completely different.
