NOt looking for a specific recipe. Just ideas. What would you guys/gals do with 1 lbs of wet willamette hops about to be snagged off a few beautiful bines? SMASH, IPA, english yeast, clean american strain?

Would you used them fresh/wet for bittering a stout? Im thinking about wet hopping with them. The stout recipe looks delicious. I edited the original to be more clear. Although maybe wet willamette would be great in the recipe.

You have the rough equivalent of three ounces of dried hops, which with a low Alpha hop like Willamette would leave you quite a bit short of a solid IPA in a five gallon batch (figure around 40 IBUs if you used the entire pitch for bittering).

I think the Stout idea, or if not, a brown or red, would be appropriate...

Cheers!
