I used to blog about my brewing on this site, but for some reason that feature is gone so, I will just post my latest recipe here. On the 8th I brewed up a Scottish/German hybrid ale for my club's Octoberfest.

5.5# Pils
5.5# Vienna
1.67 lb Munich Malt (9.0 SRM) Grain 13.19 %
0.83 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 80L (80.0 SRM) Grain 6.56 %
0.16 lb Chocolate Malt (450.0 SRM) Grain 1.26 %

2/3 oz Tettnag @ 60 min
3/8 oz German Magnum @ 60 min
3/8 oz German Magnum at 30 min
1/3 oz Fuggles at 15 minutes
1/6 oz UK Goldings at 15 minutes
Pitched Edinburgh WLP028

OG = 1.063
FG = 1.006

The idea was to blend German and Scottish styles into one brew. I made a Scottish Ale earlier on this year, and after a few months of bottle conditioning it turned out very good. I need to get this into a keg soon, so it can condition in time for the party later in September.

Thoughts?
