Son of a....

So I'm in my new home, and found a local bar willing to save bottles. They told me to stop by Sunday morning (today) and they would leave them on the back loading dock.

So I swing by, there's 240 bottles waiting for me, in boxes and everything. SWEET! Until I realize they are ALL Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob, and Coors.....yea, twist off bottles.

Well I'm not one to leave a mess, so I loaded them all up and brought them home as I promised.

I have always used SA bottles, and all I have is a wing capper. Should I just trash these? I have 10 gallons of cider (carbed) and 5 gallons of hard lemonade waiting on bottles.

I'm figuring these must be useless.

A bench capper will do fine on twist-offs. I would recommend getting one.

It's not in the budget. All the budget money is focused on pots, burners, and kegging equipment.

Take them to the recyclers. And let them know you cannot use screw-offs but to let you know if they have non-screw-offs.
