I think it's awesome that Brooklyn is going to expose Europe to some American craft beer. I am a little perplexed at the choice, though...France? FTA, France seems like a horrible place for beer. There is a 40 cent tax per pint, Budweiser costs 7 bucks a pint, and barely anyone drinks beer/knows WTF craft beer is! I'm sure that Oliver and Co. know more than I do, though.
Anyone know what the craft beer scene is like in Europe? I've read of some pretty off-the-wall little Belgian breweries doing some really innovative stuff, but it seems like breweries there are more focused on traditional styles.
