PVC cement smell

I made a sparge manifold out of PVC, and used PVC cement to bond the connections. It smells terrible even several hours after putting it together. Does anyone know how long it takes for the smell to disipate? Any risk of it causeing an off flavor in my beer?

Run some hot water with oxyclean or baking soda through it.

It takes awhile for the smell to go away. Just rinse it several times after you wash it.

That smell will go away it can take up to 24hrs to completely dry. It will not leave any off flavors .

Great news from both of you. I'm planning on trying the no sparge brew method tomorrow. I have it in an oxyclean bath right now. Thanks.
