    Campfire stout is good. The restaurant I work at had it for a while. I spoke to the brewer one time and he said he puts marshmallows in the mash. A ton of flavor come through in that beer so I would try that, rather then recreating the flavor. I also agree with kicking the late additions.

    When I am making a small batch like that I just go with biab. Much easier then having multiple mash tuns in my opinion.

    seasoning a 40 qt. aluminum stockpot?

    Fill it up and boil some water in it. I let mine go for about thirty minutes. That will build up what you need.

    Accidentally got an all grain...

    I do this from time to time when I want more grain then I can fit. Just pay attention to your water levels and be sure to allow enough time for two mashes and you should be fine.

    Beer prices?

    Sometimes I see things like this and feel spoiled. I live in the shadow of SN and can get pints of their regular offers for one to two bucks most nights. Other craft offerings are never more then five. I can't remember the last time I purchased a case. 12s are usually in the fourteen dollar range.

    The Home Made Pizza Thread

    I made a pizza the other day inspired by my recent trip to France. Crust just a little bit thinner then I felt comfortable making, goat cheese, smoked salmon, and butter. No sauce. Was amazing. Very different then what I have eaten before. Something I would recommend trying at least once.
