    What to do with fruit?!

You could either go back to your previous chiller and use your CF on your next batch, or your could strain out the fruit after the boil, CF chill and then add the fruit back into your fermenter - just need to be extra careful on handling the extra steps and not contaminate the batch. Good luck.

    Possible Infection? OK To Drink???

I brewed an Amber Cervesa and racked it to the secondary fermenter on 2-24-07. Still had avtivity, so just left it sit - dark room at constant temp of 55'F until now. There are several small 1/8 inch round off white cells on approx 1/3 of the surface. The beer is amber clear and I just pulled...

    Kegging First Time

I did adjust the regulator this morning - upped it to 15 psi from 13. Funny thing though - the tank pressure went from around 700 to 500 overnight (just touching the high side "buy more gas" red zone) - checked, and no leaks. Is this usual? Tried to sneak a pour this afternoon - plenty of...

    Kegging First Time

Is there any problem with placing the 5# CO2 tank in the fridge with the keg? Not yet ready to cut the holes in the fridge. If OK, Are there any adjustments to the pressure that I need to take into account while forcing? Thanks.

    Hi from Madison, WI

Good morning - just joined today also. Bought a kegging kit yesterday (5 lb CO2, 5 gal corney, dual guage) - didn't want to cut holes in our garage fridge yet - are there any problems with placing the CO2 tank in the fridge with the keg - any pressure adjustments that need to be made when doing...
