    First son Brew

I've been tossing around the same idea. My second son is coming around June 4th and I was thinking of making a brew in his honor, but I realized it wouldn't be fair as I have another son. My last name is Stout so I was thinking of brewing a different Stout for each of them a "Seamus Stout" for...

Why AB InBev and the others suck

anywhere from 11 to 14 cdn, all of our booze is pretty expensive even compared to other provinces, lots of taxes. BMC is roughly the same price, unless on sale.

Why AB InBev and the others suck

    English Mild

You are correct, it is a Brown Ale, I've only had it once at a pub and I just assumed it was an english mild. I don't think I've actually had one in that case, is it similar to an english brown just lighter?

    English Mild

Newcastle is a pretty good English Mild. they are generally low ABV beers, easy drinking and a nice toasty caramel flavour to them with very mild hops profile

    Beer glass

Don't be worried man, my wife used to buy super expensive wine glasses that looked really good but were super thin, I actually broke them all over a 2 year period, so we went to the dollar store. They were thick but not perfect looking, but they were a dollar. I'm sure the beer glasses are...

    Red IPA Grains Question

I just did a Desert Combat Red extract recipe using light DME and 2oz of black patent malt. Turned a really nice red color, but there is a slight sharpness to it. maybe 1.5oz would have been better.
