Do you find beer brewing too complex?

If you like IPAs, check out the Blasfamy NEIPA recipe. Simple and tasty.

New England IPA Blasphemy - No Boil NEIPA

I've "brewed" this recipe three times now and for as little effort it takes it makes a fine Ipa. Thanks for the recipe!

    Pitching dry yeast warm intentionally

I have done this and fermentation takes off in few hours. Just make sure you lower the temperature to the correct temp. of your yeast you are using. And I've had no off flavors doing this.

Simple is best? Or at least as good?

A simple pils./lager, as effective as a three chord rock song , loved by the masses. [emoji6]

About to go buy 50 + pounds of Base malt... What should I get?

Warminster floor malted Maris Otter has been my favorite base malt lately. $49.99 at my local home brew store Minneapolis, NB. (No hate please).

    S-04 good or bad.

Like some people have mentioned, I've had the best luck with brown ale, porters and stouts at 64 ish. degs. Keep it cool. I say yes.

What silly things frugal brewers do!

Got a new Cereal Killer last year, never used. I'm just waiting for my seven year old Barley Crusher to die, I must be one of the lucky ones to have it last that long!
