Single Hop Experiment kits - $14-18 at Amazon

I've been watching this one for a couple of days, trying to decide if I want to get it. The hops sound interesting, and it's cheap! Kit - (All Grain) - The Jarrylo Single Hop Experiment - Milled https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074DBVR35/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_i_FM1sDb1D78TF4

Single Hop Experiment kits - $14-18 at Amazon

Click on the link in the first post and browse for the cheap ones. You can modify your search in Amazon too. Try "beer kit all grain un-crushed" or "beer kit all grain crushed" or "beer kit extract" - I've found several by just playing around with the search function.

Single Hop Experiment kits - $14-18 at Amazon

I picked up The German Huell Melon Single Hop Experiment - Milled for $15.34 (it's $42.38 now). Brewed it this past weekend with Voss Kveik yeast. If it tastes anything like it smells it's going to be amazing! I really can't wait to get this one in the keg. I check Amazon every couple of days...

Dry hop killed the Voss Kveik

I just used Voss for the first time this past weekend. Just a simple Pale Ale. OG 1.048. I pitched half the packet of yeast at 92f and set my ferm chamber at 85f. 24 hours later it was at 1.024 and I added 2oz of Huell Melon hops. 24 hours after that it was down to 1.010. I don't know that I...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

I tried to figure all of this out but just couldn't get it to work right. I was able to get the board linked to my Raspberry Pi and get data from the Tilt to log to Google Docs and Brewer's Friend. The problem I had was it wouldn't continue to log data. It would work for an hour or two and then...

Help me understand Solid State Relays

Well on the bright side I now have three perfectly fine SSR's!

Help me understand Solid State Relays

I just finished building my 240v control box with a DSPR320, 5500 watt element, using a Leviton 3032 switch to allow power to the SSR. I have a 240 LED indicator light wired to come on when the SSR is on. My problem is that as soon as I turn my switch on the LED comes on and I read 230v across...

Heating element and HERMS coil location

Is there any reason why my heating element and HERMS coil shouldn't touch? My brew kettle is so big that for me to keep my coil under water it touches the heating element. I actually have the coil weaved around the heating element right now. It's not permanent yet. Just wanted to make sure it...

Arizona All of my homebrewing equipment and keezer

I would like to sell it all to one person rather than parting it all out. I will split it up for the right price. Shipping will be paid for by the buyer. I have a keggle with stainless fittings (dip tube, valve, recirc fitting) and sight tube. 10 gal cooler mash tun with stainless fittings (dip...

Very malty (read, too sweet) Strong Scottish Ale

I joined with my best friend from high school. A few months ago he re-upped for five years. He loved it, I didn't. I just wanted my college money, when we signed up I didn't even know what an Airborne Ranger was!

Very malty (read, too sweet) Strong Scottish Ale

Yeah, unfortunately I never made it to school either. Right about the time I was supposed to go they changed the policy on what rank you had to be to E4. In the Ranger Batt you had to have your tab to be promoted to E4 or hit 26 months which is or was the amount of time in where they had to...

Very malty (read, too sweet) Strong Scottish Ale

No offense taken as you are correct, this is my first time trying this style. Maybe I just need to drink more of it and see if it grows on me! It has been about a month since I've had a pint so I'll just keep trying it every month or so to see if it gets more to my liking. Thanks for the input...
