    NHC 2015 - Registration Open

I have 3 NHC entries that I am probably going to forfeit. Miserable winter / snow / cold kept me from brewing, I only have 1 of my 3 planned entries ready. If anyone who missed out is interested in taking them from me send a PM. Philly region, $42, shipping deadline 3/11. I think I can just...

    Megapot 1.2 Valve leaking problems

It's disappointing this is happening to so many people. My nut would not thread all the way down. NB sent me a replacement that works, but not following the provided install instructions. For the price, they should be getting this right the first time.

    Megapot 1.2 Valve leaking problems

I ignored the instructions and installed my hardware the same order as recommended by Bobby M. The locknut they sent me was stainless though.

I probably put about 200 lbs of grain through it per year. There may be better mills out there, but I wouldn't hesitate...

    CA Common Ale Beer Input?

I've brewed a few of these and agree that Northern Brewer hops make a difference. You aren't likely to get the rustic, woodsy, minty hop character from the ones you chose. Your grain bill looks good, I'd keep the abv in the 5% range. I've always used the San Fran Lager yeast as well. I...
