I am making a pale ale 1.056 It is going to be the sg a. This will be a ten gal. Batch I have 4 pints of washed yeast how much dme and yeast and water do I need to make a starter .
I just racked a 5 gal.pale to secondary I just finished a 10 gal.batch of the same beer I was wandering if I put the yeast cake from the 5. Gal in my ten gal fermenter would it do the job or do I need to add some more thanks

Well I just put a 11 gal.batch in my 16.5 gal. Bucket It is a wheat beer with a sg. 1.050 I need to leave it in there for 3 weeks because my secondary's are full.can anybody tell me if this will be ok or do I need to buy a couple more secondary.
I just got a 16.5 gal. Fermenter I just finished a 11 gal.apa I have some concerns about 5.5 gal head space. Can anybody tell me if I leave my beer in there for the full three weeks will I have a problem. Or should I transfer to my kegs after my fg is reached
I brewed a 11 gal. Batch I keaged half of the batch and bottled the rest .the one I keaged was excellent the ones I bottled was good at best has anybody had this problem it was a allgrain porter ?
i have brewed about 5 batches of ale using 05 yeast all were arounr 1.050 OG. an only pitched 1/2 pack of 05 yeast and all my FG. were on the mark . but every thing i have read on here people are pitching a full pack. have i been just lucky or what ?
