I have the same problem.... it is mostly trying to keep it cool...... it gets real warm in Texas and its getting warmer.. i am making a fermentation chamber with a small fridge plywood some wall foam..... kinda like the son of a fermentation chamber ..... but a lot larger. like 4-5 carboys larger.
I have 7 buckets, 5 6g BB and one 6g Glass carboy. lets see I have 3 batches of EdWorts Aplewein going in BB about 1 week apart(all a slightly different recipe) , An American-IPA that i just racked and dry hopping in the glass carboy(about 20 min ago). A Pale ale that just got put into a bucket...
I started a American IPA- Extract kit (5 gal batch) about 4 days ago..... It went great no problems.... 1.64 S.G.
What was strange was after 4 hours I had Kausen and major co2 production.... it went like that for 2 days ......
I came home yestrday and the Kausen was gone and almost no...
The only beer i can remember dumping was a bottle of Sam Adams Triple Bock... i like to experiment with new brews.... and i can drink just about anything.... but this was the nastiest beer i have ever bought.... when i opened it smelled like soy sauce.... and it tasted like it to....... i just...
I went to the Liquor store the beginning of Jan. and picked up a whole case (24) of the DFH 120( they only had one if they had more i would of bought more..)
Its almost impossible to get this beer here in north texas.... when its here it goes fast and you have to prity much know someone at...
I always give my friends a 6 pack and they know the only way they can get more is to not only give me back the 6 pack bottles but bring 2 or more bottles back......

I Just opened a bottle of my first brew (BB Steam-Ale) after 2 and a half weeks and Its the best beer Ive ever had...... OK not the best but it really good. It will probly get even better with age.
i was kinda scared when i opened a bottle about a week into it and all i tasted was "sweet" it...
I brewed the BB- Steam Syle kit, here are the stats.
6.6 lbs. Plain Light malt Extract
8oz crushed crystal malt 20L
1oz cascade hops(45 min)
1oz cascade hops(15min)
1 package of whatever yeast was is the box
coopers carb. drops for priming
S.G. - 1.05
E.G. - 1.012

Sorry guys i am keeping 5 sets and the others ive allready unloaded.... when i went to work today w/ all of the buckets and carboys shoved in my car i sold all of them to my coworkers for like 15 a peace..... and the buckets where like 5...... i was kinda supprised on how many people brew...
