Get the http://www.blichmannengineering.com/products/cornical. It might meet your needs for both. I don't own one, but it looks nice. I went kegging first then with fastferment.
I agree though if you are going one way first make it kegging and add a beer gun to fill other items if you need to.
I dry hop in secondary then rack to keg. Once beer is all out of carboy I turn the carboy upside down fish the end of bag and cut at the knot. Then I just wash the hops out and hops and bag fall out.
I just brewed my first batch a couple of weeks ago and when I transferred I didn't strain the hops. It is in the keg now and tastes great, but it has hops in it. Is there a way to strain the hops after kegging or should I just drink it the way it is.
