Cloning HopHands by Tired Hands Brewing Company

I can't wait to brew this. Any chance you're going to trying clone any of their other beers?

How to best proceed with this keg / element?

2.5 covers the element actually, but not by much. I think I might drill another hole and lower the element / install a new one and use the existing hole to install a ball valve or something.

How to best proceed with this keg / element?

Thanks for the responses! I guess I should explain the brewing situation. I live in a small apartment building in which I have access to the basement / garage. That has a 240v 30A plug that I can use which is a NEMA-10-30p outlet (3 prong, not 4 prong). There really isn't room to safely do a...

How to best proceed with this keg / element?

I recently picked up this keg with an element installed on Craigslist for 50 bucks. It's a standard sanke keg with a 4500w heating element installed, although it's using a standard 110v prong. What would be the best steps to make this thing fully operational? I would like to switch over to...

    Fisherman's Wharf Brewpubs?

Rogue ale house is within walking distance. 21st amendment would be a bit of a walk, but doable. Thirsty Bear is near 21A, but a bit closer. You can always grab a bus (2 minutes) or take the Judah line if you don't want to walk. Otherwise, it's a straight shot along the Embarcadero.

Commercial brewers who share their recipes

Troegs lists their ingredients as well as their "juju" for all of their beers. For instance, with Nugget Nectar, they list: Malts: Pilsner, Vienna, Munich Hops: Nugget, Warrior, Tomahawk, Simcoe, Palisade HopBack Hops: Nugget Yeast: Ale (http://www.troegs.com/our_brews/nugget_nectar.aspx)

American Pale Ale Three Floyds Zombie Dust Clone

Just poured my first pint.... best beer yet! I clogged the out post with all the hop sediment so I had to disassemble it and clean it first.

First time kegging! What would be the best schedule to have carbed beer by Thursday?

Sounds good! I had it at 15 but I just adjusted it to 30 so I'll let that sit until tomorrow night and give it a shot... probably bring it down to 11/12 after that.

First time kegging! What would be the best schedule to have carbed beer by Thursday?

I am about to keg a Zombie Dust clone (this one https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f69/three-floyds-zombie-dust-clone-303478/) and was wondering what the optimal schedule would be in order to have it safely ready by Thursday. Any suggestions / feedback would be much appreciated! My fridge maintains...

Clone Beer Founder's Breakfast Stout Clone

I would like to do this recipe, but I'm confused as to the different versions. Is the BYO one or the one on the first page the generally "accepted" one? Or is there another variant buried somewhere ? I went through all the pages but I might have missed one.

    CL find- worth it?

Hmmm... tough call. I actually just got two ball log 5gal corny kegs the other night so that's what I'm working with. Given that, does it change your recommendations at all?

    CL find- worth it?

Unfortunately I don't have a C02 tank yet- that's next on my "to obtain" list.

    CL find- worth it?

Looking to get into kegging and found the following on CL for 30 bucks: My question is, can regulators and the like go bad over time? I would definitely replace the lines, but I was wondering if this would be "safe" for a first time kegger. Any feedback would be appreciated!
