Thanks guys for the help. I will contact the venue and see if they can send me a picture since its a bit of a drive. Seems like those sankey couplers are my best bet.
I would prefer to stick with my ball lock kegs that I already own and get an adapter if it exists rather than shell out the cash for sixtels. I can always just ice bucket and picnic tap if need be.
So I am planning on making a few cornie kegs of homebrew to serve at my wedding and the venue has a kegerator that is setup for commercial kegs. I am assuming they will not allow me to cut their lines and hook up regular ball lock fittings, does anyone know if there is some sort of adapter that...
I just got this set up. I have my brew closet through the wall with a standard mini fridge and one keg that I am currently troubleshooting. I'm happy with it though..
yeah i think the picnic was around 5-6 feet, but when i saw the foam building up in the line after the first pour that it was overcarbed. so do i just leave in the fridge and keep releasing the pressure for a few days to try and lower the carb ratio?
shouldn't the first pour be foamy if the line was warm, the rest would be the temp out of the keg so would be a good pour? could it have gotten too carbonated at a week out with 20psi? that's when i hooked up the tap and had too much foam.
