It's been several years since I have made anything. I've brewed many styles and made both kit and scratch wines. A friend and I want to make a big volume of mead. Probably 15 gallons, maybe more. Please post links to your favorite mead and why. Thank you all in advance. Swifty

I've made some fantastic lager beers with cry havoc. It is by definition a lager yeast but it tolerates my basement @ 68F remarkably well! I love the yeast. I do a lawnmower and build a big yeast cake and pitch an Octoberfest on it. Crushes both. That'd be my approach. PROST!

What are your thoughts about using Nottingham at around 68 degrees for a yeast on this beer? Thank you in advance, Swifty

I don't hate cleaning but I'm not a great fan either. This looks like a great tool that would make your brewday much more productive. I guess I'll have to get it on the list. Thank you for the post Marcb... Swifty
