If you wanted to convert a 60 minute addition to FWH, how would you go about doing it?
How long would you boil? When would you start the clock--as soon as you started heating the wort? Or when it gets to full boil? (I boil on a stove top and it takes me a long time to get up to full boil)...
I was thinking that this should be a very simple way to make a starter:
Several days before you wanted to brew, sterilize the top of a bottle of homebrew containing the desired type of yeast. Open it with a sterizlized bottle opener. Decant the beer into a glass without contaminating the top...
I brewed the original recipe and it tastes great already--only one week in the bottle so far. Mine could use a little more head. Should I add a little torrified wheat next time? More time in the bottle will help too.
This was my first time trying an all grain recipe so I am very pleased...
