Almost done with the newest brewery. Still have to mount the burners and put legs on the false bottom. Finally got to test out my three way valve idea and it works great. 9" probes on the thermometers and I got triclover thermowells to with them. All the ports at pulled and polished.

I throw my keg in the kergerator right after fermentation so it's roughly 70 degrees. Set it at 40 psi for 24 hours then purge it set it to serving pressure and wait 12 more hours for it to get cold. Works perfect. 36 hours in the kergerator is enough time to get it cold. But I use a 15.5 gallon...
Teflon is not necessary on compression fittings because they do not seal on the threads. They seal on the little tapered piece inside. When you tighten it it pushes that little piece into the tubing compressing it making an air/water tight seal.
