No. Not difficult just time consuming. It took a lot of thought on how I was going to do it and still make it look good.

Ok. The line coming in from the left is the water supply line. In don't have any water filters or anything on it because I just finished and was so excited to try it out. The galvanized pipe going down and to the right is to supply the jacket of my tube and shell heat exchanger. The ss butterfly...

Almost done with the newest brewery. Still have to mount the burners and put legs on the false bottom. Finally got to test out my three way valve idea and it works great. 9" probes on the thermometers and I got triclover thermowells to with them. All the ports at pulled and polished.

New to kegging, how's my carbing method?

I throw my keg in the kergerator right after fermentation so it's roughly 70 degrees. Set it at 40 psi for 24 hours then purge it set it to serving pressure and wait 12 more hours for it to get cold. Works perfect. 36 hours in the kergerator is enough time to get it cold. But I use a 15.5 gallon...

    Wort Chiller

Teflon is not necessary on compression fittings because they do not seal on the threads. They seal on the little tapered piece inside. When you tighten it it pushes that little piece into the tubing compressing it making an air/water tight seal.
