    La Fin Du Monde is way underrated. I can't see if one loves La Fin Du Monde how he can't love Chimay (though my favorite is the Grand Reserve) In these two beers rest the judgement of all other beers to me..

    Removing Labels

    I have tried using scalding hot water and soaking the bottles for a few days but to no avail. The hot water an oxyclean worked magically. They were Spaten Oktoberfest and Samuel Adams bottles.

    I read in a thread that you can use hot water and oxyclean to easily remove beer bottle labels. I have to report that it worked like a charm. No effort and some off the labels were floating after about 15 minutes.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

    I'm brewing my first trippel. This is only my second batch of beer. My first was a few weeks ago, Autumn Amber Ale from extract. It's in 53 bottles now and tasted great before bottling. I'll let this trippel rest for a month or so before bottling. I can't wait to taste the finished product...
