Yeah these are only 4". The hardest part wasn't so much connecting the beer line, but allowing the nut that tightens to be put on the shank itself. I had to take a box cutter to the plastic interior molding to cut away space in order to even get it on.

The efficiency is astounding. It holds heat like a boss, and you can shut it down when you are done and I'm just amazed how much lump charcoal I still have at the end of the day.
