    Wire gauge question

All this helps tremendously, thanks everyone. And don't worry Doug, my cousin is a licensed electrician and is installing the spa panel and double checkng everything for me. I have zero experience with these industrial type panels but am quite capable with household wiring.

I couldn't find .5 and 10 amp fast blow fuses for those holders so I went with the 1/4" and just bought a new holder at radio shack

    Wire gauge question

So my initial question arose when trying to complete the 10 gauge leg feeding the contractor and led 1. Now that I see the led 1 portion can be of smaller gauge, how do you execute this? I'm assuming running 14 gauge back to the terminal bar. Sorry for the noob questions, obviously don't want to...

    Wire gauge question

I'm using one of pjs diagrams (single pump single pid 5500 w) but Im a little confused on which wire gauge to use. It looks like 10 g will be running to the led, but I think it should be 14? Thanks for any info

Good progress painted the enclosure with clearance rustolem from lowes and mounted the LEDs and pid. Now just have to mount receptacles and wire it up

    Salvaged control panel

The fuse holders are rated for 200000 amps I think I might need new ones; the din breaker is 20 amp but I wasn't planning on using one in the control panel since I'm going the spa panel route. Should I be using one? I already have the rail on the back panel.

    Salvaged control panel

I stripped everything down except the on/off handle switch. I was hoping to leverage this in my new control panel. How would I incorporate this into a wiring diagram?

    Salvaged control panel

I found this control panel in a job site dumpster. I believe it was used to control a single phase AC motor. I know I can use the enclosure for a single pid single pump but is there anything in here worth saving or should I strip it down and start from scratch. There appears to be a din...
